We provide you with plenty of opportunities for you to learn about Japanese culture.
Kendo
Kendo dates from time immemorial, and consists of two opponents wearing protective equipment who fight with bamboo swords. Kendo can be practiced safely, and it is as much about fighting technique as it is about tempering one's soul and keeping one's cool.
For one day, we will introduce you to a kendo dojo where the master will guide everyone through their first steps.
Karate
Karate originates from Okinawa, and it is characterized by fighting with one's bare arms and legs.
Karate can be practiced alone, where students rehearse moves called "kata" to perfection. Our school principle will guide you through a series of "kata" exercises.
Visiting a sumo stable
We will arrange to watch the morning practice of the "Musashigawa" sumo stable, where professional fighters train and live.
You will be able to watch these monumental warriors up close, and take note of the mental and physical rigor that they endure.
Wearing kimono
Experience wearing Japan's traditional clothing, kimono.
Students will take souvenir pictures which we hope will become part of your arsenal of memories from your time here!
Other activities
Experience Ikebana, Sado, Shodo, and visiting popular destination for tourist.
